Not all Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is created equal. Skin Inc's Hyaluronic Acid Serum features hydrolzyed Hyaluronic Acid, which means the molecules are smaller and can readily penetrate deeper into the stratum corneum. Size does matter when it comes to HA.
Hyaluronic Acid decreases with age. Hyaluronic acid is a natural polymer located in the dermis and in the stratum corneum. This polymer can hold tremendous amounts of water, as much as 6 liters per gram! From your teen years to age 60, your HA levels decline by half. By age 75, the drop is over 75%.
